SNL is still going. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is still going. Young Sheldon is still going. Modern Family just ended a few years ago due to running its course, same as The Big Bang Theory. But these shows that stopped creating new material are still being shown on reruns. Why would they show reruns of material that may be offensive but not produce new material? Doesn’t make sense.

There are a lot of edgy comedy programs out there, on nationally televised tv.

And I’m not sure why Jerry Seinfeld is voicing his opinion on this matter, his show was never edgy, in fact it was a show about nothing, although it must have been pretty good because he did make, and is still making, 100’s of millions of $ off it even though it’s been on reruns for years.

It appears he is just out there attempting to promote his new little movie about pop tarts. But who knows.
