Man when is it going to cool down?

yep one hell of a storm . took a look at the tuk tuk today. the roof on the left hand side is now 3in shorter than the right hand side

The back of Global House took a pasting. The roof got dumped in the road at the rear, blocking the main access to our village and taking out the power lines. Only cleared today and electric just back on an hour ago. Most large Commercial premises seem to have damage, a few on ringroad partially collapsed. About 10% of houses in our village have roof damage.

This is a very telling answer to what could have happened if school were in session, instead of it being on vacation. Said this before in this thread but it bears mention again.

I certainly wouldn't have wanted my kids at this place when it gets that damaged. The storm hit right as "school hours" were ending.

Hasn't the weather been great the last couple of days ! Nice and cool early morning (20c) and very pleasant in the evenings.
Make the most of it today and Saturday as its forecast to warm up again from Sunday onwards......

The weather is great. Still need my hat and sunscreen though toiling in the yard.
Young daughter finally had the jacket on this morning to go to school on the bike, and I cant believe last Sunday she even said the pool is to cold, until I pushed her in.

Got a hole in the big toe of me wooly sock last year so I'm 'oping it dont get cold enough to need em this year
